On Tuesday evening, June 23, neighbors, families, and friends gathered at The Preserve at Chocorua for another memorable Burgers, Brews & Beats community fundraiser. More than 80 local residents spent a beautiful early summer evening enjoying great food, live music, and even better company—all while supporting an important cause.
This month’s Burger Night benefited the Tamworth Recreation Department and Madison Recreation Department, helping fund the programs, activities, and youth sports that bring so much to children and families throughout both communities.
As always, owner Mary and the incredible Preserve staff generously donated their time, preparing the food, setting up the event, and handling all the cleanup. Every dollar raised through ticket sales and the evening’s 50/50 raffle went directly to support the recreation departments, making the event a true community effort.
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for a June evening in New Hampshire. Kids spent the evening playing wiffle ball and cornhole across the property while others explored the grounds and toured The Preserve’s charming on-site cabins. Friends caught up over burgers and local brews as live music from The Bongolians provided the soundtrack for a relaxed summer night.
Events like Burgers, Brews & Beats have become a favorite tradition at The Preserve. Several times each year, the venue opens its doors to host community burger nights that raise money for local nonprofits, organizations, and neighbors facing difficult circumstances. It’s one small way The Preserve gives back to the community that has supported it over the years.
While many people know The Preserve as a place where unforgettable weddings begin, evenings like this are a reminder that it’s also a place where the local community comes together. Whether celebrating a marriage, supporting a local cause, or simply enjoying time with friends on a warm summer evening, The Preserve is proud to be a gathering place for the people of Tamworth, Madison, and the surrounding communities.
