A wedding at The Preserve is a multi-day experience across four event spaces, on a property private enough that your guests forget the rest of the world for a few days. The Hayford Barn, Sperry Sailcloth Tent on the lawn, the Ice Pavilion, fire pits, lawn games, hiking trails and so much more are yours to make the most of your time here.
At The Preserve, your inner circle stays with you. The estate can host up to 72 guests across four cottages, the carriage house, and the farmhouse. Spend mornings on the porch and late nights by the fire with the most important people in your life. The unhurried and connected weekend you can't engineer at a hotel.

The Hayford Barn is a timber-peg frame paired with modern light fixtures and contemporary finishes — a fresh take on the New England barn that feels just-built, because it nearly is. Heated and air-conditioned for year-round comfort, with room for 225 guests and a full dance floor.

The Sperry Sailcloth Tent
The custom Sperry tent is the first thing you see as you drive onto the property, billowing peaks set against the rolling lawns. Designed for outdoor weddings without the uncertainty. With a tented option in place, every celebration moves forward with ease, rain or shine.

The ice pavilion
Built on the foundation of the property's original ice house, the Ice Pavilion is a covered open-air space anchored by a hearthstone fireplace, brick hardscape, and bistro lighting. Pure perfection for a cocktail reception, an intimate ceremony, or fireside chats late into the night.

Stay With Us
Our accommodations hold up to 60 overnight guests across the main farmhouse, the carriage house, and four cottages. Most couples reserve all on-site lodging for the wedding weekend. It puts your closest people within walking distance of every event and turns the property into something between a venue and a country estate filled with the people you love.

The Wedding Weekend
Thursday through Sunday, the entire property is yours and your guests. Most couples build a four-day itinerary, arrival and welcome dinner Thursday or Friday, ceremony rehearsal Friday, the wedding Saturday, and a farewell brunch Sunday. There are plenty of daytime activities for guests including trips to the lake, local hikes, breweries, food, and more!
A typical weekend
Thursday or Friday: Arrival and welcome dinner. Wedding party settles into on-site lodging.
Friday: Ceremony rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, optional welcome activities.
Saturday: Wedding day. Ceremony, cocktails, dinner, dancing across multiple spaces.
Sunday: Farewell brunch. Slower goodbyes.
